If you need more info from me please also tell me how to find that info because I'm still quite a newb I've tried all the compatibility modes and options and I have downloaded direct x 9.Īlso, when trying to install the direct X from the game install menu I get an error (correct DLL file could not be found) but when installing it from the files off the CD it works just fine. I have tried changing resolution on my laptop Asus R503U but it doesn't go down to 800圆00. That error from what I can tell on the web is related to screen resolution but heroes doesn't seem to have a config file to edit so I can change it before trying to open the game. When I full screen after start up when I go into game it crashes, when I full screen after I have loaded a map it works fine until I go into a fight and then crashes. When I use a compatibility mode I lose sound effects.
If I don't use a compatibility mode and don't full screen it appears to work just fine. I downloaded the demo and that works somewhat.
